* § 1470-f. Construction contracts. The authority shall let contracts\nfor construction in the same manner, so far as practicable, as is\nprovided by law for contracts of the city, except that where the\nestimated expense of a contract does not exceed twenty-five hundred\ndollars, such contract may be entered into without public letting.\nNothing in this section shall be construed to limit the power of the\nauthority to do any construction directly by the officers, agents and\nemployees of the authority.\n  * NB City of Rome Parking Authority ceased to exist 12/31/2000 per §\n1470-b, and thereafter until all liabilities have been met/discharged,\nand all bonds paid/discharged\n
