§ 1225-m. Actions against fund. (a) An action against the fund for\npersonal injury or property damage or founded on tort, except an action\nfor wrongful death, shall not be commenced more than one year and ninety\ndays after the cause of action thereof shall have accrued nor unless a\nnotice of claim shall have been served on a trustee of the fund or\nofficer or employee thereof designated by the fund for such purpose,\nwithin the time limited by, and in compliance with the requirements of\nsection fifty-e of the general municipal law. An action against the fund\nfor wrongful death shall be commenced in accordance with the notice of\nclaim and time limitation provisions of title eleven of article nine of\nthis chapter.\n (b) The venue of every action, suit or special proceeding brought\nagainst the fund shall be laid in the county of New York.\n (c) Neither any trustee of the fund nor any officer, employee, or\nagent of the fund, while acting within the scope of their authority,\nshall be subject to any personal liability resulting from exercising or\ncarrying out of any of the fund's purposes or powers.\n
