§ 1183. Obligations of public utilities. Wherever railroad tracks,\nstreet railroad tracks, gas pipes, telephone wires, telegraph wires,\nelectric light or power wires, or conduits for carrying telephone,\ntelegraph or electric wires, or other structures of any public service\ncorporation, extend in, along or across any part of the work authorized\nby this title, it shall be and become the duty of the corporation owning\nor using such tracks, pipes, wires or conduits, or other structures, to\nmake such changes in the same, at its own expense, as may be required\nduring the construction of the improvement provided for in this title,\nand to construct or rebuild and maintain at its own expense its tracks,\npipes, wires or conduits and structures over or along the work by this\ntitle authorized and constructed or in the process of construction in\npursuance thereof.\n
