* § 1142. Dutchess county water district. There is hereby defined and\nestablished an area to be known as the "Dutchess county water district"\nwhich shall embrace all the territory located within the county. After\nthe establishment of the Dutchess county water district, such district\nshall have such powers as are provided in and shall be governed in\naccordance with the provisions of article five-A of the county law,\nincluding, without limitation, the power to enter into contracts, and\ncarry out the terms thereof, with the city of New York, the New York\ncity municipal finance authority, New York city water board, or any\nagency or instrumentality thereof, for the purchase of water.\n * NB There are 2 § 1142's\n
