§ 1065. Control by other boards or commissions. No certificate of\nconvenience and necessity, license, consent or other authorization shall\nbe required to be obtained by the authority or by a water-works\ncorporation from any board, commission or other agency of the state in\norder that the authority may acquire, lease, own and operate, maintain,\nimprove, extend or enlarge any property or properties referred to in\nthis title, or that any water-works corporation may sell, transfer, or\nlease its franchise, works or system, or any part thereof to the\nauthority, except that nothing in this section contained shall be\nconstrued to deprive the state water power and control commission of any\njurisdiction which that commission may now or hereafter have pursuant to\nthe provisions of the conservation law (constituting chapter sixty-five\nof the consolidated laws), or of any jurisdiction which the state\ncommissioner of health may now or hereafter have pursuant to the\nprovisions of article five of the public health law (constituting\nchapter forty-five of the consolidated laws). Neither the state public\nservice commission nor any other board or commission of like character\nshall, unless expressly authorized hereafter, have jurisdiction over the\nauthority in the management and control of its properties or operations\nor any power over the regulation of the rates fixed or charges collected\nby the authority.\n
