Power to furnish service within district

* § 1020-e. Power to furnish service within district. The authority\nshall have power to construct or acquire, and to equip, own and operate,\nwithin or without the territorial limits of the district, any properties\nand any and all other real and personal property, used, connected with\nor appertaining to the furnishing and transmission of electric current\nfor light, heat and power, for the purpose of furnishing such service to\nthe district and to any corporate or natural persons in such district\nand also, for such purpose, to purchase electrical energy from the power\nauthority of the state of New York, or from any state agency, or from\nany municipality, or from any private or public corporation.\n  * NB There are 2 § 1020-e's\n
