Jurisdiction, functions, powers and duties

§ 33.03 Jurisdiction, functions, powers and duties. In addition to any\nother powers, functions and duties conferred upon it by this title, or\nother provisions of law, the advisory council shall:\n  1. Meet at least twice each year to provide information and review the\nactivities within the state heritage areas conducted pursuant to this\ntitle.\n  2. Assist as specified in this title in coordinating state actions\nwith the objectives of the system, and to assist and make such\nrecommendations as are necessary to carry out the purposes of this\ntitle.\n  3. Review complaints made by local governments or other entities\nestablished by law to administer heritage areas relating to activities\nundertaken by state agencies which may adversely affect heritage area\nresources and make recommendations with respect thereto.\n  4. Submit reports to the governor, not less than once a year,\nconcerning progress toward implementing the system, including\nrecommendations for the future.\n  5. Exercise and perform such other advisory functions, powers and\nduties related to the planning, development and management of the system\nas may be appropriate.\n
