§ 11.03 State board for historic preservation. There is hereby\nestablished within the office a state board for historic preservation to\nconsist of the commissioner of education, the commissioner of\nenvironmental conservation, the secretary of state, the chairman of the\nstate council on the arts, the chairman of the council and eight members\nappointed by the governor, with the advice and consent of the senate,\nfor terms of four years. A majority of the members shall be qualified,\nby education and experience, in the fields of history, architecture,\narcheology and other related professional disciplines. No member shall\nreceive any compensation, but shall be entitled to his actual and\nnecessary expenses in performing the duties of his office.\n
