§ 35-d. Aquatic invasive species signs at public boat launches. 1. The\ndepartment of environmental conservation shall design and establish\nuniversal signage which may be posted at any access point to the\nnavigable waters of the state relating to the threat and mitigation of\naquatic invasive species, as defined in subdivision ten of section\n9-1703 of the environmental conservation law, in the waters of the\nstate. The department shall provide the universal signage on its website\nin a downloadable format.\n  2. Commencing within one year of the effective date of this section,\nowners of each public boat launch shall conspicuously post the universal\nsign of not less than eighteen inches by twenty-four inches, established\npursuant to subdivision one of this section, at each public boat launch\nin the state.\n
