New York Military Code § 131.6

§ 131.6. Marshals.  (a) Summary courts-martial and the military judges\nor presidents of other courts-martial and of courts of inquiry may each\nappoint and, at any time, remove one or more marshals.\n  (b) Each marshal shall perform the usual duties of such marshals and\nshall execute any process, mandate or order issued by such military\njudge or president or court or officer.\n  (c) A bond given as herein provided may be prosecuted for breach of\nthe conditions thereof, in the name of the people, by the attorney\ngeneral or a judge advocate and all moneys recovered shall be paid to\nthe military fund injured.\n
