§ 130.36. Adjutant general may prescribe rules. The procedure,\nincluding modes of proof, in cases before military courts and other\nmilitary tribunals may be prescribed by the adjutant general by\nregulations issued pursuant to this chapter which shall, so far as he\ndeems practicable, apply the forms and modes of procedure, the\nprinciples of law and the rules of evidence generally recognized in the\ntrial of cases in the courts-martial of the United States, but which\nshall not be contrary to or inconsistent with this chapter.\n
