Punishment prohibited before trial

§ 130.13. Punishment prohibited before trial.  Subject to the\nprovisions of section 130.57, no person, while being held for trial or\nthe results of trial, shall be subjected to punishment or penalty other\nthan arrest or confinement upon the charges pending against him, nor\nshall the arrest or confinement imposed upon him be any more rigorous\nthan the circumstances require to insure his presence, but he may be\nsubjected to minor punishment during such period for infractions of\ndiscipline.\n
