Registration of protective orders

§ 83.37 Registration of protective orders.\n  If a guardian of the property has been appointed in another state and\na petition for a protective order is not pending in this state, the\nguardian of the property appointed in the other state, after giving\nnotice to the appointing court of an intent to register, may register\nthe protective order in this state by filing as a foreign judgment in a\ncourt of this state, in any county in which property belonging to the\nprotected person is located, certified copies of the order and letters\nof office and of any bond. Thereafter, said guardian of the property\nshall comply with the requirements of subparagraph (vi) of paragraph six\nof subdivision (a) of section 81.20 of this title with regard to any\nreal property of the protected person in this state.\n
