§ 297. Unclean factories. 1. If the commissioner finds evidence of\ncontagious disease in a factory, he shall affix to the articles therein\nexposed to contagion a label containing the word "unclean" and shall\nnotify the local department or board of health, which after disinfecting\nthe articles may remove such label.\n 2. If the commissioner finds that the factory or work room therein is\nunsanitary, the commissioner may, upon filing in his office a written\norder stating the reasons therefor, affix to any articles therein a\nlabel containing the word "unclean." Such label shall be removed only by\nan authorized representative of the commissioner and not until such\narticles are removed from the factory and cleaned, or until the factory\nor work room is made sanitary.\n
