§ 221-a. Permits required. No person or persons shall conduct what is\ncommonly known as a company store or a labor camp for the purpose of\nselling provisions or clothing or for providing board and/or lodging to\nworkmen in the employ of a contractor, subcontractor or other person\ndoing the whole or a part of the work contemplated by a contract awarded\nby the state or a municipal corporation without a permit from the\nindustrial commissioner.\n
