§ 499-b. Definitions. For the purposes of this article the following\nterms have the following meanings:\n  1. "Commission" means the state commission on prosecutorial conduct.\n  2. "Prosecutor" means a district attorney or any assistant district\nattorney of any county of the state in an action to exact any criminal\npenalty, fine, sanction or forfeiture.\n  3. "Hearing" means a proceeding under subdivision four of section four\nhundred ninety-nine-f of this article.\n  4. "Member of the bar" means a person admitted to the practice of law\nin this state for at least five years.\n  5. "Retired judge" shall mean a former judge or justice of the unified\ncourt system who was qualified as an attorney during such service and\nserved as such a judge or justice for at least five years.\n
