§ 408. Designation by sheriff of Monroe county of attendants for\nsupreme and county courts. The sheriff of the county of Monroe is hereby\nauthorized, by and with the consent and approval of the justices of the\nsupreme court of the seventh judicial district, residing in the county\nof Monroe, and the county judges of Monroe county, respectively, to\nappoint and with the consent of said justices and judges at pleasure, to\nremove such deputies to be attendants for the supreme court and the\ncounty court, respectively, held in and for the county of Monroe, as\nsuch justices and judges shall deem necessary.\n
