Fees and expenses of supreme court stenographer for services performed at request of official referees

§ 314. Fees and expenses of supreme court stenographer for services\nperformed at request of official referees. The fees of a supreme court\nstenographer or a stenographer of the county or surrogate's court of the\ncounty in which the action, matter or proceeding is tried and determined\nfor taking testimony or furnishing one copy thereof, as provided by\nsection one hundred and sixteen of this chapter, when required by an\nofficial referee, shall be at the rate allowed in the supreme court. The\nstenographer is also entitled to payment of his actual and necessary\nexpenses. The amount thereof must be paid upon the certificate of the\nofficial referee by the treasurer of the county in which the action or\nproceeding is pending, from the court fund, or the fund from which\njurors are paid.\n
