§ 271. Clerks of supreme court not required to attend special term in\ncertain cases.  Where a special term of the supreme court is adjourned\nto the chambers of a justice of the court, pursuant to section one\nhundred and forty-seven of this chapter, the attendance of the clerk is\nnot required, unless the justice directs him to attend.\n
