Power of supreme court justices in first judicial district to appoint attendants for supreme court

§ 166. Power of supreme court justices in first judicial district to\nappoint attendants for supreme court.  Each of the justices of the\nsupreme court in the first judicial district shall appoint and at\npleasure remove four attendants upon the court. Each of said attendants\nmay also be removed by the appellate division, but not until he has been\ninformed of the cause of the proposed removal and has been allowed an\nopportunity to make an explanation.\n
