§ 4506. Classes of membership. An authorized society may admit to\nmembership two classes of members: insurance members and social members\nby whatever name known. Social members shall not be entitled to any of\nthe benefits prescribed by section four thousand five hundred five of\nthis article, and shall have no voice or vote in the management of the\ninsurance affairs of the society, except that they shall be eligible to\nbe elected as officers and as representatives of insurance members\nunless such eligibility is prohibited by the society's by-laws.\nInsurance members may be either adult members or juvenile members.\n
