§ 3460. Prohibition against cancellation of policy when motor vehicle\nis used or operated through a peer-to-peer car sharing program. (a) An\ninsurer shall not cancel an existing motor vehicle insurance policy\nsolely on the basis that the motor vehicle covered by the insurance\npolicy has been made available pursuant to a peer-to-peer car sharing\nprogram in compliance with article forty of the general business law.\n (b) The definitions set forth in section three thousand four hundred\nfifty-eight of this article shall apply to this section.\n
