§ 316. Electronic filings. Notwithstanding subdivision one of section\nthree hundred five of the state technology law, the superintendent may\npromulgate regulations to require an insurer or other person or entity\nmaking a filing or submission with the superintendent pursuant to this\nchapter to submit the filing or submission to the superintendent by\nelectronic means. Should the superintendent require that a filing or\nsubmission be made by electronic means, an insurer or other person or\nentity affected thereby may submit a request to the superintendent for\nan exemption from the electronic filing requirement upon a demonstration\nof undue hardship, impracticability, or good cause, subject to the\napproval of the superintendent.\n
