Acting for foreign corporation which has not designated superintendent as attorney

§ 1214. Acting for foreign corporation which has not designated\nsuperintendent as attorney. No person acting for himself or for others\nshall solicit or procure, or aid in soliciting or procuring, policies or\ncertificates of insurance from, or adjust losses or in any manner aid\nthe transaction of any business for, any foreign insurance corporation\nwhich has not executed and filed in the superintendent's office a\nwritten appointment of the superintendent as its true and lawful\nattorney in and for this state, upon whom all lawful processes in any\nproceeding against it may be served.\n
