§ 229-c. Existing rights. The repeal of article eight-A of the highway\nlaw, as added by chapter three hundred fifteen of the laws of nineteen\nhundred sixty shall not affect or impair any act done or right accruing,\naccrued or acquired, or liability incurred prior to the time such repeal\ntakes effect, but the same may be enjoyed, asserted, enforced,\nprosecuted or inflicted, as fully and to the same extent as if such\nrepeal had not been effected.\n
