City of Mechanicville and town of Stillwater industrial development agency

* § 925-k. City of Mechanicville and town of Stillwater industrial\ndevelopment agency. For the benefit of the city of Mechanicville and the\ntown of Stillwater, and the inhabitants thereof, an industrial\ndevelopment agency to be known as the CITY OF MECHANICVILLE AND TOWN OF\nSTILLWATER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY, is hereby established for the\naccomplishment of any or all purposes specified in title one of article\neighteen-A of this chapter. It shall constitute a body corporate and\npolitic, and be perpetual in duration. It shall have the powers and\nduties now conferred by title one of article eighteen-A of this chapter\nupon industrial development agencies provided, that the exercise of the\npowers of such agency with respect to the acquisition of real property\nwhether by purchase, condemnation or otherwise shall be limited to the\ncorporate limits of the city of Mechanicville and the town of Stillwater\nand, shall be subject to local zoning and planning regulations and shall\ntake into consideration the regional and local comprehensive land use\nplans. It shall be organized in a manner prescribed by and be subject to\nthe provisions of title one of article eighteen-A of this chapter.\n  Its members shall be appointed by the governing bodies of the city of\nMechanicville and the town of Stillwater respectively, each of which\nshall appoint four members constituting a total membership of eight. The\nagency, its members, officers and employees and its operations shall in\nall respects be governed by the provisions of title one of article\neighteen-A of this chapter.\n  * NB Agency expires per §§ 856 and 882\n
