Marking soldered metal coin or coin silver

§ 229-d. Marking soldered metal coin or coin silver. Any person, firm,\ncorporation or association who makes or sells, or offers to sell or\ndispose of, or has in his or its possession with intent to sell or\ndispose of, any article of merchandise, whose component parts are made\nof the same metal soldered together, which article is marked, stamped,\nor branded with the words "coin" or "coin silver," unless all of said\ncomponent parts shall contain not less than nine hundred one-thousandths\nparts of pure silver, is guilty of a misdemeanor.\n
