* § 1546. Language access. 1. Instructions to parents on how to\nprovide parental consent and to exercise parental controls, overrides,\nsettings, and other permissions required by this article shall clearly\nand conspicuously be made available in no fewer than the twelve most\ncommonly spoken languages in New York state consistent with section two\nhundred two-a of the executive law and as further defined by regulations\nthat may be promulgated by the attorney general.\n  2. The attorney general shall ensure that any public information or\nguidance that it may provide concerning this article is available in the\ntwelve most commonly spoken languages in New York state consistent with\nsection two hundred two-a of the executive law.\n  * NB Effective January 1, 2027\n
