§ 118. Issuance of order or other instrument securing passage by\nvessel from foreign port to this state; what to contain.  No person\nagreeing to furnish or secure for any other person, for a consideration,\npassage by vessel from any foreign port to any port in this state shall\nissue any advice, order, certificate or other instrument purporting to\nentitle one or more persons to a passage ticket or other evidence of a\nright of passage, unless every such advise, order, certificate or\ninstrument shall be signed or countersigned by a duly appointed agent as\nprovided in section one hundred seventeen, of the vessel or line over\nwhich said advice, order, certificate or other instrument is held out to\nbe good to secure such passage ticket or other evidence of a right of\npassage. Every such order, advice, certificate or other instrument and\nevery receipt for money paid for or on account of any such advice,\norder, certificate or other instrument, shall contain a statement of the\namount paid or to be paid for such passage; the name, address and age of\nthe person for whom intended; the name of the company or line, if any,\nto which the vessel on which passage is to be made belongs; the place\nfrom which such passage is to commence; the place where such passage is\nto terminate; the name of the person purchasing such advice, order,\ncertificate or other instrument, and such advice, order, certificate or\nother instrument must be signed by the person who issues it.\n
