§ 303. Orders of superintendent; when writing required. Whenever by\nany provision of this chapter, the insurance law, the banking law or any\nother applicable law the superintendent is authorized to grant any\napproval, authorization or permission or to make any other order or\ndetermination affecting any person subject to the provisions of this\nchapter, the insurance law, the banking law or any other law, such order\nor determination shall not be effective unless made in writing and\nsigned by the superintendent or by the superintendent's authority.\n
