Receipt and disbursement of payments

§ 580-319. Receipt and disbursement of payments. (a) A support\nenforcement agency or tribunal of this state shall disburse promptly any\namounts received pursuant to a support order, as directed by the order.\nThe agency or tribunal shall furnish to a requesting party or tribunal\nof another state or a foreign country a certified statement by the\ncustodian of the record of the amounts and dates of all payments\nreceived.\n  (b) If neither the obligor, nor the obligee who is an individual, nor\nthe child resides in this state, upon request from a support enforcement\nagency of this state or another state, a support enforcement agency or a\ntribunal of this state shall:\n  (1) direct that the support payment be made to the support enforcement\nagency in the state in which the obligee is receiving services; and\n  (2) issue and send to the obligor's employer a conforming income\nwithholding order or an administrative notice of change of payee,\nreflecting the redirected payments.\n  (c) A support enforcement agency of this state receiving redirected\npayments from another state pursuant to a law similar to subdivision (b)\nof this section shall furnish to a requesting party or tribunal of the\nother state a certified statement by the custodian of the record of the\namount and dates of all payments received.\n
