§ 543. Transmission of order of filiation. When an order of filiation\nis made, the clerk of the court shall forthwith transmit to the state\ncommissioner of health on a form prescribed by him a written\nnotification as to such order, together with such other facts as may\nassist in identifying the birth record of the person whose paternity was\nin issue. When it appears to the clerk that the person whose paternity\nwas established was born in New York city, he shall forthwith transmit\nthe written notification aforesaid to the commissioner of health of the\ncity of New York instead of to the state commissioner of health.\n
