* § 267. Office reports. The office shall submit to the governor, the\ntemporary president of the senate, the speaker of the assembly, the\nchairman of the senate crime and correction committee and the chairman\nof the assembly committee on codes by October first of each year its\nevaluation and assessment of this alternatives planning and programming\neffort by the counties. Such report shall include, but not be limited\nto, the status of the development of such plans, the approval and\nimplementation of such plans, the success of the programs, in terms of\ntheir utilization, effect on jail population, results of the analyses\nprovided counties and the city of New York on the relationship between\nalcohol, drugs and crime and the success of the eligible alcohol and\nsubstance abuse programs and sentencing decisions together with any\nrecommendations with respect to the proper operation or improvement of\nplanning and implementation of effective alternatives to detention and\nalternatives to incarceration programs in counties.\n  * NB Repealed September 1, 2027\n
