§ 160-j. Examination prerequisites. 1. Certified general\nclassification.  As a prerequisite to taking the examination for\ncertification as a state certified general real estate appraiser, an\napplicant shall present evidence satisfactory to the board that he or\nshe has fulfilled the minimum education and experience requirements for\nsuch certification examination as established by the board, which shall\nnot be less than the minimum criteria established by the Appraiser\nQualification Board pursuant to Title XI of the Financial Institution\nReform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989.\n  2. Certified residential classification. As a prerequisite to taking\nthe examination for certification as a state certified residential real\nestate appraiser, an applicant shall present evidence satisfactory to\nthe board that he or she has fulfilled the minimum education and\nexperience requirements for such certification examination as\nestablished by the board, which shall not be less than the minimum\ncriteria established by the Appraiser Qualification Board pursuant to\nTitle XI of the Financial Institution Reform, Recovery and Enforcement\nAct of 1989.\n  3. Licensed classification. As a prerequisite to taking the\nexamination for licensing as a state licensed real estate appraiser, an\napplicant shall present evidence satisfactory to the board that he or\nshe has fulfilled the minimum education and experience requirements for\nsuch certification examination as established by the board, which shall\nnot be less than the minimum criteria established by the Appraiser\nQualification Board pursuant to Title XI of the Financial Institution\nReform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989.\n
