§ 72-1009. Environmental regulatory account.\n  1. The environmental regulatory account shall be credited with all\nmoneys received from fees and fee interest collected; all other moneys\ncollected by the department pursuant to title twenty-seven of article\ntwenty-three of this chapter, except as identified under article six of\nthe public officers law; and any other contributions or donations by the\npublic to such account.\n  2. Moneys in the account, following appropriation by the legislature,\nshall be allocated upon the certification of approval for availability\nby the director of the budget for the administration and enforcement of\ntitle twenty-seven of article twenty-three of this chapter, including\nbut not limited to monitoring, surveillance, enforcement, training,\nresearch, administration and cooperation with any federal, state or\nlocal agency.\n
