Waste transporter program fees

§ 72-0502. Waste transporter program fees.\n  1. All persons required to obtain a permit, certificate or approval\npursuant to the waste transporter permit requirements set forth in title\nthree of article twenty-seven of this chapter shall submit annually to\nthe department a fee in an amount to be determined as follows:\n  a. In the case of persons permitted pursuant to title three of article\ntwenty-seven of this chapter to transport industrial-commercial waste or\nlow-level radioactive waste:\n  (i) $500.00 for the first vehicle permitted pursuant to title three of\narticle twenty-seven of this chapter; and\n  (ii) $200.00 per each additional vehicle permitted.\n  b. In the case of all other persons:\n  (i) $250.00 for the first vehicle permitted pursuant to title three of\narticle twenty-seven of this chapter; and\n  (ii) $100.00 per each additional vehicle permitted.\n  2. All persons required to obtain a permit, certificate or approval\npursuant to the waste transporter permit requirements set forth in title\n15 of article 27 of this chapter shall submit annually to the department\na fee in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the first\nvehicle permitted, certified or approved for the transportation of\nregulated medical waste, and two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each\nadditional vehicle so permitted, certified or approved.\n  Provided, however, that where a city or county is delegated the\nauthority to administer the state waste transporter program pursuant to\nsubdivision four of section 27-0305 of this chapter and such city or\ncounty collects a fee in connection with the issuance of a permit,\ncertificate or approval for a waste transporter, no additional liability\nfor fees under this section shall accrue.\n
