§ 71-2915. Disposal of fines and moneys recovered.\n Except as otherwise provided in article 33 of this chapter or this\ntitle, all moneys recovered, either as fines, penalties, forfeitures or\notherwise, for the violation of any of the provisions of article 33 of\nthis chapter or this title, or of the rules of the department, and all\nbail forfeited by persons charged with such violations, shall be the\nproperty of the state. Moneys so recovered by town justices shall be\npaid to the state comptroller in accordance with the provisions of\nsection 27 of the town law and moneys so recovered by village justices\nto the state comptroller in accordance with the provisions of section\n4-410 of the village law. The same disposal shall be made of all moneys\nrecovered upon any bond given by any officer by virtue of the provisions\nof article 33 of this chapter or this title. The comptroller shall\ndeposit all such moneys into the general fund to the credit of the state\npurposes account.\n
