§ 47-0111. Assistance of department of environmental conservation.\n  To assist a council in carrying out its functions, powers and duties\nthe department of environmental conservation may upon request:\n  1. Prepare reports outlining objectives, priorities and proposed\nrelationships of the council to the local governing body;\n  2. Prepare descriptions of work to be undertaken, advantageous\ntechniques to be used and suggested roles of council members;\n  3. Provide research on conservation facts and procedures;\n  4. Provide, on a consulting basis, technical and research assistance\nas may be required to assist the council in carrying out its work and to\nenable the council to offer recommendations to the local governing body;\nand\n  5. Describe particular areas of natural resources within the\nterritorial limits of the council which require particular attention.\n
