§ 44-0109. Designation.\n  The Hudson river valley greenway is hereby designated to include the\ncounties, including all cities, towns and villages therein, of\nWestchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster, Columbia,\nGreene, Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Washington; provided the\ngreenway shall not include any area of Greene county within the Catskill\npark as defined in subdivision two of section 9-0101 of this chapter. In\naddition, in the city of New York the greenway shall include the areas\nof Bronx and New York counties that are both adjacent to the Hudson\nRiver and included as of the effective date of this section within the\nboundaries of such city's waterfront revitalization program prepared\npursuant to article forty-two of the executive law. For purposes of the\npowers and duties of the council and conservancy regarding the Hudson\nriver valley, such powers and duties shall be limited to the geographic\narea of the greenway as designated in this section.\n
