§ 37-0203. Definitions.\n For the purposes of this title, the term:\n 1. "Distributor" shall mean any person, firm, association, partnership\nor corporation, who or which imports or causes to be imported into the\nstate, any container, whether filled or unfilled, used to package\nproducts.\n 2. "Manufacturer" shall mean a person, firm, association, partnership\nor corporation, who or which makes containers to be used to package\nproducts.\n 3. "Package" means a container providing a means of marketing,\nprotecting or handling a product and shall include a unit package, an\nintermediate package and a shipping container. "Package" shall also mean\nand include, but not be limited to, such unsealed receptacles as\ncarrying cases, crates, cups, pails, rigid foil and other trays,\nwrappers and wrapping films, bags and tubs.\n 4. "Packaging component" means any individual assembled part of a\npackage such as, but not limited to, any interior or exterior blocking,\nbracing, cushioning, weatherproofing, exterior strapping, coatings,\nclosures, inks and labels.\n 5. "Food packaging" means a package or packaging component that is\nintended for direct food contact and is comprised, in substantial part,\nof paper, paperboard, or other materials originally derived from plant\nfibers.\n 6. "Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances" or "PFAS\nsubstances" shall mean, for the purposes of food packaging, a class of\nfluorinated organic chemicals containing at least one fully fluorinated\ncarbon atom.\n
