§ 29-0507. State licenses, permits, and other approvals exclusive.\n  Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no county, city, village,\ntown, or special district, or any agency or instrumentality thereof, may\nprohibit, or require any license, permit, other approval, or condition\nrelated to, the construction or operation of low-level radioactive waste\nmanagement facilities for which required state licenses, permits, or\nother approvals have been issued. Nothing in this section shall preclude\nany county, city, village, town, or special district, or any agency or\ninstrumentality thereof, from requesting, proposing, or advocating\nimposition of reasonable conditions on the construction or operation of\nlow-level radioactive waste management facilities in any proceeding upon\nan application for a required state license, permit, or other approval\nfor such facilities.\n
