§ 27-2205. Waste transporter responsibilities.\n  1. Any waste transporter that collects food scraps for recycling from\na designated food scraps generator shall:\n  (a) deliver food scraps to a transfer facility that will deliver such\nfood scraps to an organics recycler unless such generator has received a\ntemporary waiver under subdivision three of section 27-2203 of this\ntitle; or\n  (b) deliver such food scraps directly to an organics recycler.\n  2. Any waste transporter that collects food scraps from a designated\nfood scraps generator shall take all reasonable precautions to not\ndeliver those food scraps to an incinerator or a landfill nor commingle\nthe material with any other solid waste unless such commingled waste can\nbe processed by an organics recycler or unless such generator has\nreceived a temporary waiver under subdivision three of section 27-2203\nof this title.\n
