§ 27-2119. Phase-out of mercury-containing flooring.\n  1. Commencing a year after the calendar year in which this section\ntakes effect, no public or nonpublic elementary or secondary school\nshall install a mercury-containing floor nor shall any school install a\nfloor over a mercury-containing floor prior to removal of the\nmercury-containing floor.\n  2. The time weighted average mercury vapor exposure for an employee or\nstudent of a public or nonpublic elementary or secondary school shall\nnot exceed 750 ng/m (3).\n  3. For purposes of this section:\n  (a) "mercury-containing floor" shall mean a floor containing\nphenyl-mercuric-acetate catalyst.\n  (b) "time weighted average" shall mean an employee's average airborne\nexposure in an eight-hour work shift of a forty-hour work week or for a\nperson under the age of eighteen shall mean sixteen hours or less per\nweek averaged over the school year.\n
