§ 23-1727. Severability.\n If any part of this title or the application thereof to any person or\ncircumstances shall be adjudged to be invalid by a court of competent\njurisdiction, such order or judgment shall be confined in its\napplicability to the controversy in which it was rendered, and not\naffect or invalidate the remainder of any provision of any section or\nsubdivision hereof or the application of any part of the act so\ninterpreted, or otherwise, to any other person or circumstance, and to\nthis end the provisions of each section of the act, and of subdivisions\nand parts thereof, are hereby declared to be separable.\n
