§ 21-0705. Advisors.\n 1. The member of the Delaware river basin commission from this state\nshall have an advisor as contemplated by subdivision six of section two\nof article two of the compact. Such advisor shall be the mayor of the\ncity of New York or his designee, but no designee of the mayor shall be\nrecognized as an advisor or accorded any privileges as such unless the\nmayor shall have notified the commission member from this state and the\nDelaware river basin commission in writing of the selection of such\ndesignee and of his identity.\n 2. The Department of Environmental Conservation shall provide an\nadvisory committee who together with the state Commissioner of Commerce\nshall constitute an advisory committee with whom the member of the\nDelaware river basin commission from this state may consult with respect\nto the conduct of New York participation in the compact. Such member of\nthe commission also may consult from time to time with other officers of\nthe state government or any subdivision thereof, as may be appropriate.\n
