State lighting efficiency standards for existing public buildings

§ 8-104. State lighting efficiency standards for existing public\nbuildings. In addition to meeting the purposes set forth in section\n8-101 of this article, the standards shall be designed to satisfy the\nfollowing specific criteria:\n  1. The standards, so far as may be practicable, shall be formulated in\nterms of performance objectives.\n  2. The standards, so far as may be practicable, shall further the\nimprovement of energy conservation lighting practices, methods,\nequipment, materials and techniques.\n  3. The standards shall encourage economically reasonable energy\nconserving lighting techniques to be used in the lighting of all\nexisting buildings.\n  4. The standards shall provide reasonable uniform standards and\nrequirements for lighting and lighting materials for the improvement in\nefficiency of lighting systems.\n
