§ 3-414. Election inspectors and poll clerks; oath of office,\ncertificate of appointment. 1. Every person designated and certified as\nan election inspector shall, within ten days after notice of\ncertification, take and subscribe the constitutional and statutory oath\nof office, which shall be administered by a commissioner of elections,\nor by any employee of the board of elections who shall be designated in\nwriting to administer such oaths, or by the clerk of the city or town in\nwhich the election district for which such person is certified is\nlocated. Oaths of office shall be filed in the office of the board of\nelections.\n 2. Every person so sworn shall receive a certificate of appointment in\nsuch form as may be approved by the board under which he serves, and\nsuch form shall specify the capacity and the election district or\ndistricts, in which he is to serve and the date of the expiration of the\nterm of office.\n
