§ 17-164. Political contributions by owners of polling places\nprohibited. A person, who being the owner of premises contracted for or\nused as a place of registration or as a polling place for any election\nor official primary, who makes offers or promises to make a political\ncontribution to any party committee, candidate or person, or any person\nwho makes, promises or offers to make any such political contribution as\nan inducement for the hiring of premises owned by him for use as a place\nof registration or polling place for any election or official primary,\nshall be guilty of a misdemeanor.\n
