§ 14-128. Disposition of anonymous contributions. Any anonymous\ncontributions received by a campaign treasurer, political committee or\nagency thereof shall not be used or expended, but the same shall be paid\nover to the comptroller of the state of New York for deposit in the\ngeneral treasury of the state unless, before the date for filing\nstatements and reports as herein provided, the identity of such\nanonymous contributor shall become known, and, in such event the\nanonymous contribution shall be returned to such contributor or retained\nand properly reported as a contribution from such contributor.\n
