§ 33. Administration of civil defense oaths. 1. The commission and\neach local director shall have power by regulation or order to designate\nor provide for the designation of members of civil defense forces under\ntheir respective jurisdictions to administer the written oath which the\nfederal civil defense act of nineteen hundred fifty requires persons in\nstate or local organizations for civil defense to take before entering\nupon their duties therein.\n 2. Each such designation of a person serving under the jurisdiction of\nthe commission shall be filed in the department of state. Each such\ndesignation of a person serving under the jurisdiction of a county\ndirector shall be filed in the office of the clerk of the county and\neach such designation of a person serving under the jurisdiction of a\ncity director shall be filed in the office of the city clerk.\n 3. Designations so made may be revoked in the same manner in which\nthey may be made pursuant hereto, provided that notice thereof is given\nto each person whose designation is so revoked.\n 4. In addition to the requirements of any other law, the certificate\nof a person administering an oath pursuant to such a designation shall\nspecify (a) county clerk's or city clerk's office in which his\ndesignation was filed and (b) that such designation has not been\nrevoked.\n
